How do we ensure our executive selection is effective?

The goal is always clear: identifying the most suitable candidates. But beyond choosing the right methods, our approach is characterized by looking at the process as a whole. Together with you, we think further: What additional positive effects can be achieved? How can the selection process convey both the challenges of the position and the values or leadership principles of your organization? From the very beginning, we design the process to be transparent, comprehensible, and fair for everyone. It is always clear why certain methods are used and how the results are integrated into decision-making – which significantly increases acceptance of the outcome.

Equally important is the communication process with internal candidates and the sensitive, professional handling of external candidates. By responsibly involving them, we treat all candidates with respect, preventing loss of status or frustration. We often provide comprehensive information in advance and conduct technical checks with the video system used in virtual procedures. This gives candidates a sense of security and allows them to focus on what really matters.

During the procedure, exercises are designed to be realistic, and candidates are actively involved. This includes co-creative exercises that reveal not only performance but also leadership attitude. We are happy to involve your executives as observers. Aware of their limited availability, we create added value for them by providing impulses for their own leadership practice (e.g. behavior assessment, giving feedback).

For virtual delivery, we rely on standard software, avoiding additional license costs. Evaluations are carried out via a custom-built website, while communication between all participants takes place on the video platform of your choice. Whether conducted virtually or in person, strict data protection and data security are always guaranteed.

At the end of the process, all candidates receive differentiated, clear, and appreciative feedback, plus an optional written report including helpful development impulses. In addition to the selection decision, we also look at the subsequent development of the candidate: What does the new (senior) executive need from day one to get off to a motivated start? How can developmental goals best be achieved? Here, too, we provide support beyond the selection process – with coaching, development discussions, and onboarding programs – to ensure long-term sustainability.
