June 2002 saw the introduction of norm DIN 33430 for "Requirements for procedures and their implementation in occupational aptitude appraisal". The norm introduces standards for quality of content and process of procedures for personnel selection and development (i.e. selection interviews, Assessment Centres, assessment of potential) and the qualification of the internal and external agents.
Many PE-Solution consultants are DIN 33430 certified. They have successfully passed an exam proving their knowledge of the norm. It goes without saying that our personnel selection procedures can be conceptualised according to DIN-standards.

The project was taken up in 1995 on initiative of the BDP (Berufsverband Deutscher Psychologinnen und Psychologen e.V. ? ?professional association of German psychologists?). The DIN committee commenced its assignment in 1997. The following five years saw agitated discussion and consultation among notable specialists and various organisations until the DIN 33430 was finally published in 2002.
